Ex-Googler of 12 years, Matt was a founding member of Google’s analytical consulting team, developing analytics, statistical forecasting, auction modeling, and machine learning for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Kohl’s, Best Buy, and many more. He went on to lead global technical partnerships before leaving to found Bonsai in February, 2020.
Served the aerospace and defense industry for over 15 years in engineering, operations and program management roles. Mike is passionate about improving the efficiency of business processes and using data to empower clients to achieve their goals.
VP, Customers & Strategic Partnerships
Terry is a Chicago area native with over 25 years of executive sales and management experience at early stage, family-owned and Fortune 150 companies including Google, Salesforce and NBC Universal. At Bonsai, Terry’s role is leading all business development, growth strategy and market positioning.
With more than a decade of marketing experience, Allie has worked at large-scale B2B corporations and at a digital agency, managing branding, email campaigns, search and social ads, and press. At Bonsai, she’s a client’s point of contact to ensure their engagement runs smoothly.
Sr. Program Manager
Born & raised in Chicago, I grew up being an avid sports fan and eating my way through the city. I love working in program management where I have the opportunity to build relationships and support our clients towards achieving growth and their goals. Outside of work you can find me on the basketball court, binge-watching The Office, or researching my next big adventure.
With nearly 20 years of professional marketing experience, Kristy has worked with some of the country’s largest (current & former) brands including OfficeMax, Sears, Ace Hardware, FTD and Pampered Chef managing everything from circulars and store events to digital channels including search, email and social. Her focus at Bonsai is keeping projects on task and to effective completion.
Serving as Bonsai’s Design Analyst, Rachel ensures all marketing and advertising efforts are clean, organized and designed to fit various brand standards. She will receive her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign this May.

My18 years of retail leadership at the number 1 home improvement retailer have taught me that there is more to acquisition than clicks and impressions. It is about creating an experience across all digital channels and making decisions based on customer interactions. At Bonsai we prioritize growing your business and not your media spend.
Chief Operating Officer
Client service and building for growth are common threads across John’s career. From controller at an inc. 5000 boutique consulting firm to co-founder of his own SaaS startup, and most recently the head of U.S. technical consulting at Google for large advertisers, John brings breadth of experience across industries and depth in marketing technology + analytics to Bonsai.
Analytics & Data Lead
I have 12 years of experience in Analytics in the Supply chain industry with a focus on Analytics and Pricing. I’ve helped in process improvements, KPI/SLA metrics measurement, pricing products, and creation of decision-making dashboards that contributed to time reduction and cost savings. I joined Bonsai for the vision the company has for its customers and its employees. I believe simplicity is the key to answering big data problems, and we can help save our customers time and money by providing key insight.
Gabriel is from Lac-Saint-Jean and Montréal ( QC ) Canada. Gabe has significant experience combining graphs and computer science, building businesses and problem solving. He is passionate about working with companies who are trying to understand how to efficiently manage their marketing technology needs.
I hold a Bachelors and Masters Degree in science. Since my student days, I have loved performing on stage and solving logical problems in aptitude tests. So that’s how I see big datasets, a big logical problem with its story to be told. Finding patterns in it and conveying its story gives me an adrenaline rush.

Lydia comes to Bonsai with nearly five years of experience in the aerospace & defense industry where she built automated, data-driven tools to answer key questions about manufacturing performance and empowered operations leaders to implement informed, effective change. She strives to facilitate clear, action-oriented communication on cross-functional teams and connect a project’s high level goals to its critical technical details.
